Looking for a church in Traralgon?

Our community is made up of locals eager to see our knowledge and experience of Christian faith grow both deeper into our own lives and wider into our community.  We believe our faith in Jesus is full of optimism for the world we live in, capable of helping us navigate the contradictions and challenges we face every day, and offers us a life-giving people to be a part of.

Our community connects regularly for weekly worship services on a Sunday, online Bible studies mid-week, band practices, mens’ and ladies catch ups, and as a team overseeing our junior kids program, Valley Kids.

Sunday meetings include opportunities to ask questions and share a meal together after the message – a time we believe central to building great friendships that move out into our weeks and lives.  These meetings occur in the afternoon and make them a stirring way to end our weekends together, revitalised for the week ahead.

SUNDAY SERVICES

Frequently Asked Questions

At its heart, church is about a community coming together to worship God, to pray, to learn and generally to be together.  Most churches include some element of these items, each arranging them slightly differently.  Our Sunday meetings begin with coffee and a catch up, then we worship through song and prayer, followed by a talk from the Bible (sermon), and then we field some questions about the topic.  We close with a meal together and more chatting.

In our community people will usually dress casually, with modesty in mind.  Shorts, jeans, t-shirts are all regulars, but if you want to dress up a little we’re here for it!

There is a weekly kids program run by one of our volunteer parents.  Kids begin each Sunday meeting with the adults for a few songs, before heading to their own space for an age-appropriate lesson and activity.  We also host a bi-weekly Friday evening program for Prep – Grade 5 during the term (more info here)

We currently hire the Danceworks 114 studios at 109 Argyle Street, Traralgon for our Sunday meetings.  The studios are next door to Sydney Tools..

Our church is an independent church, lead by local leaders (elders), which is part of a global network of churches called Advance Movement.  Through this partnership we have access to Biblical accountability, encouragement, resources and shared responsibility for advancing Jesus’ message locally and further afield.  Read more.
